چکیده

In present scenario, anthropogenic activities have degraded the quality of water bodies to an unbearable level. Discharge untreated industrial and other effluents made unconsumable. Present work is attempt fabricate new stimuli responsive adsorbent based on natural exudate gum sterculia, indigenous for uptake a cationic dye malachite green. Magnetic field terculia gum–graft-poly(n-isopropylacrylamide-co-acrylamide) nanocomposite been prepared assessed it as adsorbents enrichment green from aqueous solution. The characterized by FTIR, TG-DTA, VSM swelling studies. results shown superparamagnetic behaviour with saturation magnetization 1.5065 emu/g. adsorption follows Temkin isotherm indicate maximum capacity 19.977 (98.78%) desorption studies demonstrates excellent recovery ability nanocomposite. study confirms prospective applications polysaccharide magnetic hydrogel fruitful greener disposal dyes.

Photocatalytic Removal of Malachite Green Dye from Aqueous Solutions Using Halloysite–TiO2 Nanocomposite

Background and purpose: Malachite green is one of the most widely used dyes in various industries, aquaculture, and fungicides. The residues have adverse effects on environmental and human health and should be removed from the effluent before discharging to the environment. The purpose of this study was to investigate the efficiency of photocatalytic process using halloysite-titanium dioxide n...

Removal of Malachite Green from Aqueous Solution by Zeolite- Iron Oxide Magnetic Nanocomposite

Discharge of dye effluents into the natural streams may be toxic to the aquatic lives as well as human being. In the present studies, zeolite was synthesized from coal fly ash by alkaline hydrothermal treatment and mixed with magnetite nanoparticles in suspension to produce zeolite-iron oxide magnetic nanocomposite. It was used as adsorbent for the removal of malachite green dye from aqueous so...

Removal of Malachite Green Dyes By Adsorption onto Activated Carbon – Mno2 – Nanocomposite – Kinetic Study and Equilibrium Isotherm Analyses

This paper presents the feasibility of removal of basic dye malachite green from aqueous solutions by using a low cost AC-MnO2-NC. Batch adsorption experiments were carried out as a function of pH, contact time, initial concentration of the adsorbate, adsorbent dosage and temperature . Langmuir, Freundlich and Tempkin isotherms were also studied . Pseudo first order, Pseudo second order , intra...

Adsorptive removal of azide ion from aqueous solutions using modified activated carbon magnetic nanocomposite

In this work, the activated carbon/magnetic Fe3O4 nanocomposite was synthesized and characterized by TEM and XRD measurements. This magnetic nanocomposite was modified with cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) and thus used as a new adsorbent for removal of azide ion from an aqueous solution. In an aqueous solution of azide ion, the adsorption capacity was evaluated using both the Langmuir and Freund...
